2 Months Today!

Today Owen is officially 2 months old!! I was looking at pictures of when he was born until now and the difference is absolutely crazy how much he's changed!! He's so big now! Today it snowed like crazy, 9 inches total from 5am till about 3:30 this afternoon!! I have a few years yet until I can play with him outside, until then we can sit inside and watch it come down! I can't wait to make his first snowman and snow angel! :) Well we had a good day today, we are going to Milwaukee this weekend to visit the Osundes! So it's laundry and packing to go! I always thought packing for me was rough for a few days, now it's a whole new mission to make sure I am prepared for this trip. I can't wait for Teagan to see him, she's been waiting very paitently to meet baby Owen! :) It's crazy to think I took care of her and Drake in the infant room at daycare and now they can play with my infant!! :) Today was a great day! 2 months down a lot more to look forward to!

Busy few days!

So Owen and I have had a very busy few days! We started him on cereal on Wednesday, at night in place of a bottle! He was drinking so much during the day we decided it would be a better idea. Let me tell you he didn't mess around with that idea! He loves it! He eats it like an old pro. Honestly I don't know if I can get any luckier with him!! He's on a great schedule now and we both couldn't be happier!

Thursday he got weighed, and measured. He's a whopping 11 lbs 4oz, 23.5"long, and head circumference of 16.5"! He's in the 75th percentile for height, 50th for weight and 90th for his head measurements! He's a big boy and they couldn't be more pleased with how he's developing! He's doing things he should be doing by the time he's 3 months old! So he's doing very well. I couldn't be happier. 

This weekend we got to spend some great time with my Sister in law and my handsome nephews! My brother PJ is training for his upcoming deployment for 3 weeks so my mom and I went to relieve some of the momma jobs she has with a 3 year old, a 2 year old and a 7 week old! It was a great few days! Tomorrow is church day and time to get some things done around the house!

Smiley day

He is so smiley today! Everytime my mom or I talked to him he would flash the biggest and best smile! We had a great day today! Mom and I finally finished painting his room and tomorrow we finish moving everything around so that Owen and I are upstairs! It's so exciting! He's such a great baby, I really lucked out with him! Grandma and Owen had some quality time together during his tubby time! He loves that. I think I have the next Michael Phelps on my hands, with his long limbs and love of the water! :) We had a great Saturday! Tomorrow is church day and reorganizing day! Owen likes church with everyone singing and giving him so much attention because "he's so cute" :)

From the Beginng...

I am new to this whole blog thing so bear with me...I figured it would be an easier way to go along with me on the journey of raising Owen. I hope one day when he's old enough to show him this.
He's the best thing that has come into my life by far...he's everything to me. I never thought I could love someone as much as I love that little man. He's the most amazing person I've ever met. We laugh and cry together on any given day, we are a team for life. A package deal if you would say. I can't wait to teach him things, be there for him when he get's his heart broken the first time, get's his first report card, help him achieve his goals and milestones, be his cheerleader at everything he does and most of all the person he can ALWAYS come to for anything he needs. I am his entire lifeline right now and it makes me nervous, scared, anxious, yes, but I can't wait for this wild ride of life with him. We will have our ups and downs, sure, but we will do it together, and we will do it well. So come along with us on this crazy thing we call life and laugh with us, cry with us, but most of all have fun with us!:)
